MENTORING PROGRAM FOR WOMEN
About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website at barbarastc.com and www.barbarastc.com/program (collectively, the “Site”) and your engagement with services provided by Barbara StClaire-Ostwald (Coach and Mentor), trading as EMPOWERMENT THROUGH MENTORING OÜ (Registration #: 17546217), Tallinn, Estonia. By booking a service, enrolling in a program, or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy (found at https://barbarastc.com/privacy-policy) which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference, and all applicable laws and regulations.
Services
EMPOWERMENT THROUGH MENTORING OÜ (The Company), provides online mentoring services exclusively for women, delivered via video call under the program name “The Inspired Woman”. This is a premium mentoring program designed for women who are actively seeking personal development support rather than clinical or therapeutic intervention. The service has no geographic restriction and is delivered entirely online; the client base spans multiple countries and cultures. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact an appropriate medical or emergency professional service immediately.

Scope of Practice
The Company reserves the right to decline or discontinue services at any time if she believes a client's needs fall outside her scope of practice or would be better served by another professional. Where appropriate, referrals to alternative practitioners or services will be provided.
Eligibility
Women worldwide, typically aged 35–65, who are navigating a significant life or identity transition. This includes women who have led businesses, raised families, built careers, or moved through major life changes (career shifts, empty nest, retirement transition, entrepreneurship, divorce, or other turning points), and who are now seeking to reconnect with their confidence, clarity, and sense of self.
An exploratory conversation will be conducted prior to enrolment to confirm a match. The Company reserves the right to decline any application without prejudice.
Client Responsibility
Clients remain fully responsible for their own decisions, actions, physical health, and mental wellbeing throughout and after the engagement. Participation in any program or session does not transfer responsibility for your life choices to The Company. Clients are encouraged to maintain appropriate medical and psychological support alongside this work where relevant, and to seek emergency assistance if required.
Mutual Fit
The Company reserves the right to decline or discontinue services where it believes the working relationship is no longer appropriate, safe, or beneficial for either party. Where this occurs, reasonable notice will be given and appropriate referrals provided where possible.
Payment and Refund Policy
The Company offers three payment plans with pricing schedules for ‘The Inspired Woman’ which will be sent to you in a Proposal for you to choose.
Except for any services designated on the Site as non-refundable, we will accept a refund of your purchase price, provided such request of dissatisfaction is made within 14 days of payment and provided you have made such request via email to [email protected] within the designated timeframe of 14 days. Your refund will be credited back to the same payment method used to make the original purchase on the site.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
The following cancellation policy applies to all sessions:
- 48 hours or more notice: session may be rescheduled at no charge
- Less than 48 hours notice: 10% of the monthly fee applies
- Same day cancellation or no-show: 15% of the monthly fee applies , or your session may be forfeit
Exceptions may be made at The Company’s sole discretion in the case of genuine documented emergencies
Confidentiality
All personal information shared within sessions is treated as strictly confidential. The following exceptions apply in accordance with EU law, and AKI Estonia www.aki.ee, including professional ethical obligations.

Exceptions:
Where there is a risk of serious harm to you or another person
Where disclosure is required by law or court order
In all other circumstances, your information will not be shared with any third party without your written consent.
Recording Policy
Sessions may not be recorded by either party without verbal consent. Any agreed recordings are for personal use only and may not be shared, published, or distributed in any form. Recordings are primarily there for note taking during the sessions and are deleted once the notes have been distributed to the client. A copy of the coaching notes are held in a separate safe and confidential file as required by the Global Coaching Code of Conduct.
Online Sessions and Technology
Empowerment Through Mentoring OÜ is an online business.
Clients are responsible for:
- Ensuring a stable internet connection
- Accessing sessions from a private, uninterrupted space
- Having the required technology and platform access in place prior to the session
The Company is not liable for disruptions caused by technology failures beyond reasonable control. Where a session is significantly disrupted due to a technology issue on our end, the session will be rescheduled at no charge.
Intellectual Property
The Site and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video and audio, and the design, selection and arrangement thereof) are owned by The Company, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by International copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws in other countries.
These Terms of Service permit you to use the Site for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store or transmit any of the material on our Site except as follows:
- Your computer may temporarily store copies of such materials in RAM incidental to your accessing and viewing those materials
- You may store files that are automatically cached by your Web Browser for display enhancement purposes
- If we provide desktop, mobile or other applications for download, you may download a single copy to your computer or mobile device solely for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you agree to be bound by our end user license agreement for such applications; and if we provide links to Sites or applications owned or operated by a third-party (for example, to our social media accounts) you may take such actions as are enabled by such features
You may not:
- Modify copies of any materials from this site
- Use any illustrations photographs, video or audio sequences, or any graphics separately from the accompanying text
- Delete or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notices from copies of materials from this site
- *Except with our prior written consent, access or use any of any commercial purposes any part of the Site or any services or materials available through the Site
All program materials, frameworks, written content, meditations, podcasts and resources provided by Empowerment Through Mentoring OÜ remain the intellectual property of The Company. They may not be reproduced, distributed, taught, or used commercially without prior written permission.
Website Use
The information provided on barbarastc.com is for general educational and informational purposes only. Browsing this website does not establish a therapeutic, mentoring, or professional relationship. A relationship is established only upon confirmation of a booking or enrolment.
Limitation Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under EU consumer law, and AKI Estonia www.aki.ee Empowerment Through Mentoring OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation in any program or service, or from use of this website. Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you may have under the EU Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of The European Union. By engaging with Empowerment Through Mentoring OÜ services, clients in all jurisdictions agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia www.aki.ee for the resolution of any disputes. The Company makes no representation that its services are appropriate or available in all locations. Clients are responsible for ensuring that their engagement with these services complies with the laws of their own country or jurisdiction.
Changes to these Term
The Company reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be published on barbarastc.com. Continued use of services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
